O ~ Solomon 'the preacher' is not writing about being lazy, or recommending being only focussed on this life, etc. However, there is tremendous wisdom shown as he highlights the need to live in the present - something that James Dobson says is one of the most difficult things for anyone to do.
A ~ Enjoy, Do Good, Receive the reward for work - it is all a gift. I am trying to do this very thing today - enjoy the gift God has given me of taking a Sabbath. I worked so hard this week, with so many hours already. May I enjoy what the Lord has in store for my time with Him today.
P ~ Lord, thank you for the strength to work, and the courage to rest. May today be one of the most enjoyable days ever, as I walk with You.
