Blessing Pharaoh

S ~ Take your flocks and herds, as you said, and be gone. Go, but bless me as you leave. Exodus 12:32

O ~ Pharaoh is finally letting Moses and Company leave, but only after the death of the firstborn. What sorrow for all of Egypt - and yet how many sons had been killed and thrown in the Nile? Great sorrow - but in the midst of it, Pharaoh asked for the blessing of Moses.

A ~ We are all touchable - none of us is untouchable. Pharaoh broke.
I wonder if Moses did bless him. If so, I wonder what he said.
Jesus would instruct us to do so - bless your enemies.
But Pharaoh?
Sometimes it's hard enough to bless your friends or family.

P ~ Lord, not only do I pray that You would help me follow You, but help me bless my enemies - recognizing that they are not my enemy, they are only being used by my real enemy, the devil.
