Every Sin (but one)

S ~ So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. Matthew 12:31

O ~ Every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven. Every sin. Every blasphemy. Can be forgiven. Except one.

A ~ So often this verse is missed, because we focus on blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Yet the amazing grace of Jesus, the love of God, the power of the Holy Spirit brings this amazing truth - every sin can be forgiven... but this. The message needs to not be on the 'but this', instead pointing to the marvellous truth that sin can be forgiven. This is amazing news.  This makes me think of every tree of the garden can be eaten, but this one. Let's not focus on the one.

P ~ Lord, please help me to focus on all that can be forgiven - the good news of the gospel.
