Guest List


S ~ Later, Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. Matthew 9:10

O ~ It's very interesting that Matthew assumed Jesus would want to be with tax collectors and people who have terrible reputations of being sinners. Matthew threw a party and thought they all would get along, and would want to be together.

A ~ How welcoming was Jesus that Matthew thought he and sinners were a good mix? May I live in such a way that sinners, even ones with reputations, would want to be with me... and Jesus!

P ~ Lord, help me be to in this world but not of it, help me to come out from among them but to reach them, and help me to not be religious, but relational.
