The Promised Land

S ~ So you will see the land from a distance, but you may not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”. Deuteronomy 32:52

O ~ Because of his betrayal, Moses did not get to enter the promised land. It’s important to remember that God’s purpose was never to get Moses into the Promised Land - it was to get His people into the promised land. It was never about an individual, but a people.

A ~ I need to remember to be faithful to God, no matter what. I need to obey, and regard Him as holy. So many times our Nigerian families have prayed that I in laboring for all our people, I myself would not miss heaven.  I certainly understand this in light of this verse.

P ~ Lord, may I honor You, obey You, and follow You... right into all the promises that You have for me.
