Never Alone

S ~ But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when you will be scattered, each one going his own way, leaving me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me. John 16:32

O ~ Jesus understood, and seemed to be mentally preparing for the time, that all would leave him. Each one. Not only was it Peter that denied him, but they all fled in the garden. Even John. Of course John shows up at the high priest’s home, but he fled at the moment.  And yet... Jesus was never alone - until the cross.  

A ~ Whenever we feel alone, it is only a feeling - even if everyone has gone their own way. The Father is still with us. He will never leave us nor abandon us.

P ~ Lord, I don’t want to go my own way, leaving You ‘alone’. Please help me to walk with You every day. And thank You for never leaving me alone - even in my darkest hours - even the night is light to You.
