Safe Harbour

S ~ He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves. What a blessing was that stillness
as he brought them safely into harbor! Pslam 107: 29-30

O ~ They cried “Lord, help” in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. Lord, help. Two simple sincere words.

A ~ What a change the Lord can bring. A storm to a whisper - such a blessing to bring them safely into harbour. God can calm the storms in our lives, the storms that are so loud and all encompassing, to be a mere whisper - where we have to strain to even hear there is still a storm somewhere.  Truly the Lord wants to bless us with stillness in the storm, and bring our lives into places of safety.

P ~ Lord, please help. Help with the storm raging in me - of inadequacy and failure and not being enough.   Let those things become mere whispers.
