Shaped by His Spirit
Well, it has been a while since I blogged. I have been faithfully reading my bible, but not faithfully digging into it. I have read, but not journaled. It seems as when I journal, I remember. I also am forced to at least think of an application - even if I don't actually do it. Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. (Acts 20:28 NKJV) I am thankful that the Holy Spirit has made me an overseer - I am not a self made man. He has shaped and formed me to fulfill the role He has given me. I need to make sure I am doing all He has equipped me for; and not procrastinating. The War of Art helped me yesterday with thinking about Resistance, and how that will kill me. I intentionally broke through a few areas of resistance, and interestingly enough, felt so much better after each one.
