All Aboard!

S ~ A male and female of each kind entered, just as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord closed the door behind them. Genesis 7:16

O ~ Noah didn't need to close the door - God did. What marvellous grace upon Noah, to not have to live with the decision to close the door. How horrible it would have been to know that you were the one to close the door to the ark, shutting everyone and every creature out. This may have been the heaviest door in the world, and God was the only one strong enough to close it.

A ~ It is not my responsibility to close the door to salvation - but rather to invite and call people into the ark. I need to make sure I have entered, and that I have brought my family with me, but I will leave the door open for others to come, not shutting it because I think it is too late. While there is breath in the body there is hope for the soul.

P ~ Lord, please ensure my family is in the ark - that not one will be missing. No Marsten missing, no Santin missing, no Goodhew or Numrich missing, no Reierson or Cummings or Rosler missing, no Vidotto or Depatie or Tobin missing. None missing when you close the door.
