S ~ Then the Lord asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.” Exodus 4:11-12
O ~ Moses was in the process of informing the Lord that he could not speak - or essentially, that he would not speak because of his speech difficulties. Not only did the Lord address the issues of speech, he addressed the issuee of 'Who's in charge here?" - Is it not I, the Lord?
A ~ When I look at my life, or my abilities, and say that I am not enough - I must realize that the Lord is the one who made me, as so the Lord is quite content to work with and through what He has made. My limitations do not limit the Lord from using me. They only limit me in offering them to the Lord.
P ~ Lord, I shouldn't be surprised that You know my limitations - for You made me. And I shouldn't be surprised that You can still use me. It's never about my ability, but rather my availability - so Lord, I'm available.
