No Worries Mate

S ~ “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today." Matthew 6:34

O ~ We are never instructed to worry. There is not one scripture that says "You should worry about this."  Worry is never the right choice. Even the sparrows, with tiny little brains, are smart enough to not worry.

A ~ There is a difference between worry and planning. Do plan for tomorrow, but don't count on tomorrow. We don't know what tomorrow will hold, but I can do my best to plan for it, as much as depends on me. And yet, even when I have not planned enough - the answer isn't to worry. Ebenezer - the stone they set up at Mizpah, and the stone the church gave to me - says "Thus far the Lord has helped us".  No reason to think He won't help me today... and no reason to think He won't help me tomorrow.

P ~ Lord, so much to think about regarding tomorrow - especially since I am now 52. Thank You that today is in Your hands, and so is tomorrow. Instead of worry, I choose to trust You.
