Bullfrogs and Butterflies

S ~ What’s more, I am changing your name. It will no longer be Abram. Instead, you will be called Abraham, for you will be the father of many nations. I will make you extremely fruitful. Your descendants will become many nations, and kings will be among them! Genesis 17:5-6

O ~ Abram was now 99 years old when his name is changed. He had lived for a century as Abram - a veritable lifetime (although he does live until 175). 99 years as Abram, and now he is as Sarai called him, an old man.

A ~ It doesn't matter how old I get, God can still appear to me and change me. It's not too late for a transforming encounter with the Lord. God appears to Abram as El Shaddai ~ God Almighty. He is still God Almighty, able to change my life today.

P ~ Lord, I have been unchanged in so many areas in my life...seemingly all my life. I turn to You, God Almighty, and ask You to change me. May this week of prayer and fasting be a transforming encounter with you.
