O ~ Often people refer to how Jesus used parables to teach the multitudes. Certainly that is true, but we also see him in the synagogues teaching. In this moment, and in many others, He wasn't speaking in parables - He was preaching the word of God to them.
A ~ So many gathered to hear Jesus preach, and to see the demonstration of His power. Powerful preaching, with miraculous healings accompanying the word. We need both - the spiritual and the physical. I'm so thankful for John Phan coming to Christ yesterday, and so heartbroken that Audrey has a migraine today. We need the spiritual and the physical. Jesus please.
P ~ Lord, please help me to preach Your Word in such a way, with such power and authority and humility, that people are saved and healed. Both Lord. Both.
